The Computer Centre was established with UGC funds in the Basava Bhavan, Dravidian University, Kuppam housing state-of-the-art computing systems, with sophisticated software packages, and connected by a powerful high-speed network. The centre caters to the ever-increasing demands of high performance computing for academic programmes and research.

The Computer Centre provides a central computing facility with Network Servers for all the students and staff of the University. It also offers possible assistance in conducting research, analyzing data, etc. for all the students and staff of the University. The Centre helps to develop human resources in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
